SMALL BUSINESS IMPACTCrops from Saguaro
AeC established a beautiful garden in the desert at our Saguaro property that is helping us to be self-sustaining. Our staff plant crops on the property, providing food for the children in our programs with surplus available for sale. The garden is utilized year-round under the direction of Professor Alex, assisted by our students. |
New Beginnings Community CenterNew Beginnings Community Center was acquired by AeC Ministries in 2010 with the desire to expand our outreach to a larger number of wonderfully deserving children and families. As with our Amistad Community Center, New Beginnings welcomes the community for celebrations and other events. This center is additionally the base for a teen ministry, with meetings on Friday nights. Teens also meet in various locations within the community for outreach to other teens, fellowship passing from one heart to another.

La Paz Training CenterContinued Expansion for the Community
After years of leading teams to build houses in Juarez, sleeping on floors in local churches and in tents, Jerry Quick led teams to build a ministry training center. It is built on the grounds of a local church (La Paz) secured with a high fence and a locked gate. Dorms, showers, and bathrooms for men and women are on the second floor with a kitchen and storage area on the first floor. When not being used for housing short term teams, the property is used as a community center, mission training facility, and as Sunday school classrooms. Short term teams use the outside church patio for devotions, debriefing and preparing for the next day’s projects. The view from the dorms is a beautiful site of El Paso, Texas. |
